I was playing Burger Shop 2 when I bought Build A Lot 4: Power Source. Well, Build A Lot didn’t steal my eyes from Burger Shop.
It does have new stuff, but not that challenging… at first…
Yes, Build A Lot 4: Power Source has 4 campaigns. First is tutorial, which of course I skipped. The second campaign is the main campaign with 45 levels. So boring and not very challenging..
The third and fourth campaign which are challenge and expert campaigns both has 10 levels. Now we’re talking about challenge.. too bad they only have 10 levels each.
Here are my general tips for the hard levels:
- It’s ok to have black outs, sometimes, black out is necessary
- Build recycle center and workshop first, buy materials and train workers, then build the biggest house you can afford, sell it, to get money to build the biggest power source you can afford
- Don’t forget to upgrade workshop and tech center when needed
If you need help with specific levels, just leave a comment and I’ll try to guide you..
Below is walkthrough for some levels, well.. it’s not the exact step by step, but hope you’ll get the idea..
Level Expert 3:
- build recycle center
- build workshop
- buy 100 material then buy 250 material
- train 2 workers
- build georgian
- sell georgian
- buy materials and train more workers
- build nuclear power
- buy some houses
- build bakery
- build apartments and upgrade then sell
- build cinema to get income while building aparments
- build 3 more apartments and upgrade, paint them BLUE
- build business center and make fancy bakery
- build tech center
- don’t forget to upgrade workshop and tech center
- when all the appartments have been upgraded, demolish nuclear power, thenĀ build wind farm and upgrade
- buy the georgian and apartment
- demolish uneeded buildings and build pools

First of all great article.
I am currently stuck in the 3rd level of the expert campaign and could use some advice. Requirements are to build 4 *** Apartments, 4 pools, a fancy bakery and 2 wind power plants. It’s added later that the Apartments should be painted in blue color.
I start by building a Georgean and selling that, followed by an Apartment, which I upgrade to 3 stars and sell. Now with more than 1 million to spend, I build a nuclear plant and a wind power plant and finish my other tasks one by one.
As my very last action I demolish the nuclear plant and build the second wind power plant as required. I now have fulfilled all my 5 tasks, but have also caused a blackout by the tiniest of margins. The game tells me to build another power source to complete the level, but basically there are no free spaces as all of them hold quest-related buildings.
Obviously all 4 of my Apartments are upgraded to triple energy savers.
I’d be really grateful for any hints how to solve this level.
don’t build pools yet..
build pools last..
the wind power has to be upgraded in order to have enough power, so you need tech center which of course you can demolish later to build pool
I had no troubles with level 3 of the expert campaign but level 4 seems like it might actually be impossible.
Requirements are:
11 Georgians
8 Craftsmen
200+ Appeal
There are 21 lots so enough for the required buildings with two left over.
I’ve done this level a few times now and each time I make sure all 19 buildings are landscaped, painted and triple energy savers, and place a amphitheatre on one spare lot in between two buildings, giving an overall appeal of 265
Problem #1:
adding a nuclear reactor to the last spare lot gives a maximum appeal of 185
Problem #2:
adding any other power source (even if it’s supercharged) isn’t enough power for the buildings (even though they’re triple energy savers)
Any thoughts?
i am stuck on expert level 4. 11 georgians 8 craftsman and +200 appeal
I m still blocked at the first level of expert campaign, please HELP !!
I am currently stuck on level 45 on the main campaign. How do I get appeal up to 300+, own 15 houses, 2 recreations, and 2 fancy shops?
